What to Expect

Thank you for considering Wedding Elegance, Floral & Event Design for your upcoming event or wedding. We like to help our potential clients understand what they can expect at their first consultation. Before booking your appointment with us, we encourage you to have your date and venue solidified. This will allow us to ensure we will be available for your event.

Your first consultation

Before booking an appointment with us, Joelle will have a conversation by email or phone to go over some basic and preliminary pricing based on information received from you. Assuming the pricing is in line with your expectations, an appointment will be made to meet Joelle. The goal of the first appointment is to further educate the client on our pricing structure based on the design requirements, but also to further establish the design, including color palettes, floral expectations and what works best in your selected venue.  From this meeting we are happy to provide a proposal with an estimate. Upon retainer fee, the wedding date will be secured. Your first free no/obligation consultation can be made.

Your second consultation

As a booked client, your second meeting is referred to as the ‘design and detail appointment’. This is usually done four to five months before your special day. At this meeting, creative input and discussion reaches a new level. We will discuss in more detail, your color palette and the style you would like to see represented at your wedding or event. While some of our clients may have existing ideas they would like us to replicate others may want to investigate new ideas. We are always excited to give creative input to make your event one of kind! Any custom work or additions can be assessed and quoted on at this time.

Additional consultations

Most of our clients can expect to visit us one more time for the final appointment. (Some of our more detailed assignments may require additional time together). This is usually about four weeks before the event. This appointment is to finalize numbers and make any last minute changes or revisions to the proposed order.  We also do a sample set-up at this time.
